    Handmade christmas gifts--whatcha think?

Well, the bags themselves weren't handmade; I got plain black bags and some ribbons and buttons and modified them. I had to rip the stitches out of the straps to modify the straps and re-sew them, put the ribbons and buttons on and then painted them.

Unfortunately, the photographs aren't a good representation of the colors; the purple, silver, and blue I used are reflective and shiny, and so I had to find a way to photograph them with light to show the color but not make it all glow white. The second bag was especially difficult, so I just provided more pictures to show the colors better.

    Xenomorph bag:

Sorry for how many there are--like I said, I couldn't get the colors right. They're to be shipped to Australia to a couple old friends---you like? I was thinking about making more of them, for custom orders, since I enjoy doing them. Only I'd be making the bags themselves by hand, because these are fairly simple.

OH!!! And here's a size comparison, so you can see how big they are.

Thank you! They're really fun to make. Except for the part where the heavy denim was too thick for the sewing machine to reattach the straps...and I had to do it by hand. Thank you all for the kind comments!
