First Clutch of the Season! (04/22/06) *DUW*

Came as a definite suprise today after only 45 days of incubation at 83F...I was thinking that they had about two weeks left...boy was I wrong. Definitely a great suprise to find after I get home from a fun filled herp day!

The clutch was from my DH LV Albino/Blizzard Pair...

Here's what came out of it!

    A LV Albino

    And a Blizzard!

They are all set up in their hatchling shoebox in my new rack, and doing great.

What a great end to a day.

Oohhh, Jason! I didn't even know leos could look like those! LOL Do they hold those colors/patterns into adulthood?

Super-Congrats on those little babies! What a day you've had!!

    What a day indeed!

The albino should carry the colors into adulthood, the pattern may change a bit as he/she grows but it will stay a "jungle" pattern. I'm hoping that the blizzard will get lighter and whiter with age.

Great looking babies! 45 days at 83 deg.? Usually 45 days is standard for incubating males at 89 deg., I would double check the temps on that incubator!

Wow very very nice Jason and congrats again (you had a darn fine day!) That albino is gorgeous as is the blizzard, can't wait to see more pics as they mature.

I have a coralife digital thermometer on the incubator and that read a constant 83 deg, which I double checked with the use of a PE2 Heat gun. Within the last two weeks or so I did up the temps in the incubator to 88F so that may have made a difference.
