    Pickup Vs Meeting

After reading through the BOI, I noticed that a lot of breeders don't allow pickup at there facility, I can understand this. Im wondering if then they would be willing to arrange a meeting. It obviously differs from breeder to breeder. Has anyone done this.

    Re: Pickup Vs Meeting

Why wouldn't a breeder be willing to facilitate a pick-up at their location?

If you had a million dollar (or more) collection, would you let someone come and see it for a two or three hundred dollar snake? (or even more)

A lot of the big breeders can and do give tours, but they can also afford better security than the little guys.

    Re: Pickup Vs Meeting

Breeders of other species often don't allow direct contact with their stock or visits to their facilities either for health or security purposes. I know some parrot breeders have very strict rules this way too.

Each breeder to his or her own I figure.
