Questions on the results of this pairing...

Since the genetic wizard doesn't take stuff like 50% hets into account, I just need some clarification on how these outcome probabilities work...

What would each of these produce, and mainly what are the probabilities of each outcome?

sterling 50% het pied x sterling 50% het pied?

sterling 50% het pied x sterling pied?

sterling 50% het pied x sterling?

    Thanks!

That would all depend on thev chance of the 50% het pied actualy being a het or not

I think if you were breeding 100% hets it would be a better chance at the odds.

OH. I understand what 50% het means now... LOL. I'd rather not take my chances then! =P

This is why I always list stuff like this as "50% possible het" so as not to mislead the customer.

Right? It makes it sound more like "partially het, so will produce offspring with a lower chance of het" rather than "this hatchling has a 50% chance of BEING het at all".
