I got 8 slugs from a 2305 gram female ball python this morning.

What could of caused all 8 eggs to be slugs? She is way over the 1500gram breeding size and my male was 771grams.

Can be anything from issue with the male, the female or temperatures.

Wow, sorry to hear that. It sounds unusual that all eggs would be slugs.

I had a female lay 4 slugs last season. This season she laid 7 good eggs. I didn't do anything different, so I don't know what caused the slugs the first time.

Get her back on food and try again next year!

Last time I heard of this happening, their hotspot was at 94 Fahrenheit, which is too hot. What's your heat at?

Could be issues with the male.

Sorry to hear your news, but I've had a couple girls completely "slug-out", usually as virgins. Then the following year they drop a healthy clutch. So it happens but typically not an entire clutch. Was this possibly the first clutch for your female?

Yeah, what I thought, has happened to me as well. Get her weight back and I bet she delivers next season.
