    Mother on Eggs

My blood python laid eggs on the 1st, and I'm trying out maternal incubation. So far all is well. She's holding temps around 86-87.

Yesterday, day 15, movement seen in the eggs!

Nice! How is the humidity? That will be important throughout. Maternal incubation reminds me of natural childbirth. Good luck and keep us updated.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

The tub is flooded with a layer of water for maximum humidity. The nest box is misted inside every few days. The nest box has the entrance hole in the top, so the flooding of the tub won't hurt what goes on in there. When I open the tub, I'm hit with a wall of humidity. So far so good, eggs are as plump as the day they were laid.

Pairing was superstripe T+ x lyly stripe het T+.

That should make some real stunners! I am a huge fan of lylys and that stripe is amazing.
