No snake yet, just a rack I made

Wanted to use this as a place for me to keep a small log, I couldn't find any sections that seemed to be dedicated to this purpose.

We got a corn snake a while back. I fell in love. Everything is going great with her so felt I was ready to move to BP's. Spent a long time designing my rack system as I have limited space and wanted to max it out.

I am building in phases, as snakes grow I will complete the necessary steps. Last night I got all temps in line and they are holding perfectly. I have ambient on the cool side at 80 - 81 with hotspot in the back at 91.5.

The NARBC is this weekend and I hope to find a big worm that catches my eye to bring home and place into this rack.

Anyways, happy to be here. Thanks for the wonderful resource.

You have a very nice rack. Welcome to the forum. You know that you are in trouble right? It all starts with one snake. The next thing you know you are trying to remember how many snakes you do have. Your rack is nice, however I imagine you will be building a bigger one very soon.

Welcome to BP.net! Just remember, ball pythons are like Doritos...you think you'll only have one, but the next thing you know, you have the whole bag in your lap

Re: No snake yet, just a rack I made

Haha thanks for all the kind words guys. I have been planning for months and going back and forth and back again . I love building stuff. I'm somewhat prepared for the addiction. I told my wife from the beginning what to expect. This is stage one of three. there will be 4 FB 40 tubs and 6 FB 80 tubs for the adults.

My only concern is that I will max out at 10 adults so I have to choose wisely or convince my wife to let me expand into other territories when the time comes lol.

We had a good day at the NARBC today and grabbed this 1.0 fire pinstripe and 0.1 cinnamon to start the collection off.

And here are the plans for rack.
