    Heat tape problems

    Alright so I've tryed 3 separate times to fix my snakes heat tape I went and got new heat tape and cord but all 3 times it wouldn't work I split the heat tape and Saudered it then put electrical tape over it and plug it in and nothing what am I doing wrong?

    Tell us more about the problem. Can you get a picture of the tape when it's set up? Does it not heat? Is it heating for a while then dying? Does it spark? We need more to go on please.

    No heat and no spark and I can get pictures next time I clean their cages I just have the heat up and a heater in front of their rack to keep them warm for now amd idk if it helps but it starts from one side and goes down on the opposite side and so on

    Can you also pull the rack out and show us what shows from the back? Two diff angles are always better than one.

    I can't take it apart and the parts that do are the shelf but who but it used wood glue I think to hold in place and the back was nailed in

    Without seeing your connections you might have a problem with the power supply.
    I honestly cannot see screwing it up three time.

    Lol I could I could seem to get the Sauder to hold to the heat tape that was one of the main problems
