    Fall is a fun time!

In the hopes of producing some redder snakes out of a non-red T-, I'm pairing my boy with my Marter line girl. I tried last year- he tried, but he was on the young side and nothing happened.

I'm hoping for better luck this year, since they are locked up. I tried more for comparison shots showing the color difference.

congratulations, sounds like a good plan, it'll take a couple of generations but what the heck you've got plenty of time. I can't wait to see the babies.

I won't really need that much time. I have a decently red 2012 het T- girl that I will breed next year if she gets up to size. Currently, she's still too small by a lot. I try to feed her up, but she seems to just keep getting wider instead of bigger.

Well, if Marter doesn't get the red going, I don't know what will!

Here you go! I took her out for one tonight, and even though she's been refusing food off and on the past few months, her bottom half is filling out a lot. It's hard to see in the picture, but I'm hopeful!
Thanks again for this girl, Kevin! She did end up settling in well.

Here's a different angle. She is definitely getting lumpy...

She looks great you've done a fine job with her that's the way an adult Blood python should look symmetry wise and from the looks of that last pic you posted she will be starting her pre lay shed here pretty soon.

Somebody decided to surprise me early tonight. I thought she was getting lumpy...
Don't mind the bad cell pic. I didn't want to bug her too much until I prepped the incubator, so she needs to be on them for a day or two. Also, my actual computer died and the new one arrives this week.
