2015 NARBC Tinley Park IL. (Video)
Hey everyone!
I took some video from the NARBC show today and thought I would share. As always, the people are wonderful and the animals, breath taking!

What was the deal with the snakes in the glasses? They looked piled up on each other. I've always wondered, die anyone ever sell anything at these? I've never been to a show before, but in the videos, all the cases are full. Most had great prices.

They are temporary display cases, the glasses are just a different way to display the animal compared to the typical flat style.
NARBC is one of the biggest shows of the year and a lot of sales take place :-)

Its just weird that all these show footage videos I see have all the cases filled. Now I know that's ideal because it makes it look more full and allows people to see different things all at once but if they're all in the cages how are any of them sold yet some of them say so but not all of them. It makes me feel like the ball python market is on the decline if not completely flat

It really depends on the vendors. Some vendors will bring more animals with and keep them to the side replacing the display cases when a animal sells. Other vendors will replace sold animals with the obvious "Sold" on the top or business card in replace of the empty slot.

People have been trying to say the market is dying or dead since 07-08, it isn't dead nor dying. I wish that thought of the hobby would die. The people who do it for money and not for the love and to further the hobby will always fall flat and their market will die. The ones who take it seriously and have a genuine love of Ball Pythons will always be successful.

...sorry, passed out at about the 2 minute mark when I saw all those gorgeous Clown's. Looks like a great show perhaps next year I can get up to Chicago and check it out. The thing I don't like about these show videos is the over head lighting in these venues is always the same and makes it hard to see. Great video though and thanks for getting the shots of Justins and Joshes table, those new Leopard Spotnose Clowns are amazing!

Thanks for the video, I'll have to watch it again on a decent screen later. Had to cancel going at the last minute, and I was really disappointed. Wife's transmission died, and it would have just been too expensive on gas to take my full size van.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

It was a great video with lots of eye candy. I hope the industry is not dead, as I haven't even got into breeding at all. It's just kind of a hard pill to swallow when that is one of your end goals and you see tables piled up with stuff that appears like it hasn't been sold. I don't expect to get rich selling baby snakes, in fact I might not even get to the point of breeding. But if I did, you would be only to fund other aspects of my snake hobbies such as buying new exciting Morse buying feeders buying cages Exedra Exedra. I think the days of getting rich off of this stuff is long since gone. Which isn't a bad thing because maybe it will be more of a hobbyist driven field
