    Jungle, for real this time

I was able to get an actual jungle as opposed to a mislabeled coastal... hehe. He's a yearling and is a stunner!

A stunner indeed! Congrats on your beauty and nice setup too!

Got a feed yesterday on my very first attempt. Only his third day with me too! So proud of this guy!!

Edit: Should mention that I was going to wait a week or so to try feeding, but I was told he missed his last 2 feeds due to the breeder going on vacation and then shipping him out to me. Thought I'd give it a go just in case!

    Beautiful, selectively bred jungle there!

Did you place the other snake? I actually thought your first snake was a stunner. The thing about jungles and coastals is they share the same DNA, and some feel a jungle is actually a smaller, unique locality of coastal. The research is ongoing and nothing is conclusive at this point.

The beautiful jungles like yours that we see in captivity are very different from what a wild caught would look like, so you may have still had a jungle with your first snake, but it's really impossible to tell.

You are correct that you have a "real" jungle there.

I'm curious as to what happened with your first snake.

Also, the setup looks very nice!

    Keep the pictures coming.
