    Beeger boxes experiences?

    Hey everyone,

I'm looking to order a 41 qt rack from Beeger boxes and wanted to see if anyone had some experience with these guys. Quality seems amazing and the price is right. Spoke to Ross over the phone and was very knowledgable and friendly. Any input is appreciated.

    thanks

    Beeger boxes experiences?

I Love Beeger Boxes racks! I have 2 of them and will be picking up a 41qt rack at the Repticon in Nashville in March they are such great nice people and their racks are top notch, the prices are great especially when you pick the racks up at a show and can skip the shipping costs. Definitely get a rack from them you won't be disappointed. Lol I buy from them exclusively.

Oh yeah just wanted to add that I have the 4 tub 15qt rack and the 12 tub 6qt rack both are great can't wait to hopefully fill the hatchling rack up this season

I've actually ordered a rack from them and I'm waiting for it to be shipped.

Thanks! What size heat tape do you have on those? Seems they are generous and use a 12 inch wide THG reptile specific heat tape.

The two small racks have 4in heat tape and the 41qt racks have a 12 x 16 heat pad.

Mine came with 4" heat tape. Very happy with it. Setting it up this weekend and will add BPs next week.

It does need a good thermostat. I got the VE-100

Has anyone seen the "bad guy Beeger boxes" thread on fauna I believe? It seems that currently there are a few Beeger boxes customers that paid for a rack and have waited 10 weeks for it's delivery, when they were quoted much less

Steve is a good honest guy who makes solid products. If I wasn't making my own racks I'd buy his.

I have sadly, I subscribed and have been following it closely. I don't have any experience with ordering a rack from them because I just go to shows and buy them or get them to reserve a rack for me to bring to a show so I can pick it up. So I always get to examine the product and just take it home without the extra cost and apparent shipping hassle. So this bad guy thread won't stop me from buying Beeger Box racks. I've never had an issue with the quality of the racks so I'm not really sure what to think about the whole thing. I've personally talked with both Debbie and Ross extensively at the shows and always look forward to talking with them and they have always been very nice to me.

    Re: Beeger boxes experiences?

All I have heard is that the quality of their racks is great. But I do think that from reading the various "bad guy" threads that it seems like they might be in a little over their heads with regards to the time frame they can offer their product. After speaking with Debby I was given a three week time frame for my rack to ship. I really want to order from them, but it does scare me when I concurrently see people who ordered racks almost three months ago that still don't have their product. I have animals coming in over the next few months and I need a rack in a reliable time frame. I really hope they get it sorted out. I love their prices and the quality seems top notch.
