My hog dances around in his viv until he's taken out. At first I tried offering food, but the next day or so he's at it again. Could he have just learned the association that if he does this enough he will be let out?

My boa does the same thing when he wants out(or at least that's how I interpret it). Sometimes he's lounging by the pool(water dish). Other times, he's doing this:
