    First Blood

Hah! Tricked you! I bet you thought I meant first Blood Python... nope! First blood that's been drawn from my male reticulated. Little brat! I honestly don't know if it's the seasonal change, but he's been overly excited lately.

Thank you, haha. I've been bitten by a few Burmese, so I am not totally new but this was the first blood from my 'Tic. Maybe welcome to the feeding frenzy club? Since retics have such fantastic feeding responses? Haha.

Retics be Retics. Little nippy was my experience with them. Actually had one (about a 7 footer) get me right in the face once. They have lotsa teethuses. Nice picture.

Retics will be retics, lol. I know a very nice 17 foot male who has almost no feeding response at all and won't bite, but rather run away. I love and wonder over the individual differences between animals of the same species.
Thanks for the compliment on the picture! My fingernail tried so hard! Haha.

Oh of course It was definitely one of those moments where you choose to take a photo or attend to the blood dripping on the floor. I chose the photo @.@
