    My Jeffrey!

    Hi guys,

I have a young albino hognose, Jeffrey. Ive had him for a total of 2 weeks?

He's pretty grumpy and during feedings I kinda have to leave the pinky in the tub and close the tub, or else he won't eat.

He's current feeding on brained pinkies.

Before I had him, he had great feeding response with the breeder. He would open his mouth during feedings, but now he just kinda hisses and fake strikes the air.

Do you think he'll calm down in time with me? And feed normally?

He's pretty tiny too, he was born before July, and now is about the size of a pen. I havent weighed him yet though. His dad was tiny too, 70 grams.

Leaving a pinky in there for him to eat is a fine way to feed him. No problem with that. Maybe add some crumpled up newspaper to his tub to take up space and make him feel more secure.

Yup I might add some shredded paper, or more aspen actually. Just that I need a clear opening for the pinkie tho, don't want the pinkie coated in aspen.
