    I can't. I was asking bc I have a female checkered garter that I bred last year and she had 21 babies and I didn't hold back any. Unfortunately her mate died suddenly back in January. I was curious. With garters it is easy to tell from the tapering of the tail what sex they are but I couldn't tell from your pic. Also males are usually a lot smaller than females. Nice pick up!

    Those are so sweet!!! Congrats! I've always wanted one, but always manage to talk myself out of it when I do see them in person.
