Rescuing a boa
I am rescuing a boa the ppl that have him Don't even know what he is was telling ppl he is a ball python. He is great shape I went and saw him today he is about 6 ft and is very calm and easy to handle comes with his enclosure and everything I just want a better idea of breed

I agree. Normal bci. Good contrast on him. Most normals get a lot darker than that (base color) but he seems to have a pretty light background color for a boa his size.
Congrats on the rescue too.

I agree with the others. The thing is you'll never 100% know what is in the mix without data on the parents and further back.
The good news is, that boa looks to be in good condition. There is a nice, lean, loaf shape going on there and I'd suspect if it's a male as they say, it's probably close to full maturity.

Common BCI. Not sure if he needs "rescuing" unless he's blowing snot bubbles, his body condition is perfect. It's nice to see an adult that doesn't look like a corn snake or ball python. Boas should be square, not round - a fat, round boa is a short-lived boa.

Thanks he was a loved pet rescued because owner is no longer with us and his family can't take care of him anymore.
