Unhappy Getting a Northern Pine Snake to do a Bowel Movement?

My northern pine snake has not moved his bowels for over a week now after his usual feeding. Typically that only takes two or three days. He is acting lethargic (versus the usual hyper) and I can see that his tail is rather bloated.

Is there some way I can get him to complete this bowel movement? I'm hoping I can or else at that point I'm very concerned and he'll go to the vet.

Try putting him in some warm water and let him soak, that works a lot of times.

I'd forgotten about this, I once used it in the same situation with my ball python and it worked a charm. I did two sessions with him, he was pretty calm about it. He didn't go while in there but hopefully he will later. He seems a little more active now.

    Thanks!
