lol i have 5 empty ten gallons,I just dont know what to fill them with, im thinkin about another hamster (maybe a nicer one who i can actually a touch)
*gasp!* empty tanks! unacceptable! i just filled my empty 10 gallon with a pair of red eyed tree frogs. but that is just temporary until i have gotten a good look at their feces and they seem healthy and ready to go into their nice tall 30 gallon. it is nice though to keep at least one empty tank around for any emergency situation that could arise should you come home from the petstore one day with something that might need a place to stay for a while.
I'd be worried about her getting a pinky down, but then I'm always worried about the babies eating. In another month and a half or so I'll (hopefully) have tiny cresties to worry over. How is she with handling so far? Jumpy, or easy enough to hold on to?

So far she's very sweet and docile. She did rattle a bit (so cute) yesterday, but didn't jump or anything as I picked her up. She's so little it's kinda hard to pick her up!

I would think so! How are you picking her up, just by hand? I'd almost be inclined to use a mini-hook or something just to get her high enough to get my hand under easily. And it turns out you have a Love line "rattlesnake".

LOL. I don't even know if a mini hook would be small enough - I'd need like a paper clip! I'm just picking her up by hand. The one time she rattled I had removed her hide from off top of her. My snow corn rattled once but never again - I had also removed his hide off top of him that time as well. My Cal King, however, is my true rattlesnake (she's gotten tons better). Not only does she do rattlesnake imitations, but she also does a Cobra imitation.
