    Jaguar Western hognoses

    Hi everyone

I'm just looking for some more info on the Jaguar trait. So far I have read that it is a line bred trait, rather than dom or co-dom.
They seem to have good examples and not so good examples.
Jaguar x Jaguar breedings seem to give a more extreme expression of the trait.
They seem to pop up mostly from green lines.

So my question is what are the defining traits that make a Jaguar?
Is it the fading centers and messy edges on their dorsal pattern along with the stripe on the tail?

    Thanks in advance

    Jaguar Hognose

Hi I recently bought some Jaguar Hognose having researched what little information I could find, immediately I saw the advert I didn't question if these were in fact genuine Jaguars, I could see without a doubt. I was told they were from a nicely marked female and normal looking male hognose, the seller didnt realize he had jags or a jag until the babies hatched.

While looking to buy some nice Jaguars I came across a number of adverts and images which people were claiming to be genuine Jags, I can honestly say that they didnt inspire me to buy them. I am hoping the line I have will continue to throw the same quality especially when breeding Jag to Jag

I only got part of the tale from the seller but It seems that a low expression Jag can produce some outstanding examples. please have a look on my website that I am working on http://www.mountainkingsnakesuk.com/hognose-.html

Hope this helps a little please feel free to use any pics or I can email you one if required

    Regards
    Neil
