A normal adult mouse is about the size of a rat pup/crawler. Typically around 3 inches long and about 25 grams. Sometimes very large retired breeder mice can get the size of weaned rats, closer to 4 inces and 35 - 40 grams.

A great site for comparing sizes is www.rodentpro.com. If you "browse products" you can view pictures of each size of rodent as well as see weights and lengths.

    Hope this helps.

esssh, i think the guy i get my feeders from must breed some big mice :\

seems like the constant average size of the mice i've been getting ar about 3.5-4inches, and pretty fat, about 2 1/2 diameter
i'll weight one next time, cause now i'm curious as to the weight

Well, there is not really a standard for the relation of rodent length and weight to "size". Raising rodents to size is not done with percision. Every rodent breeder is going to be a little different. I was just speaking from my own experience and using a second source as a reference.
