    Go here and play around.

Find what appeals to you and then look for the best examples of the characteristics you like. You will never be disappointed that way.

Why would I get a het ghost? And how could that help me long term?

You need to do a little reading on genetics, without that you won't understand the whys, I would start here http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...Basic-Genetics

It will tell you why you would get a normal and why you would get a het hypo.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you see as complicated in the site posted above?

Complicated or not, I think it would be a smart idea to learn a little more about what you are wanting to get into before hand,

You would get normal and POSSIBLE hets. Study the genes you think you want to work with to see how the help or hurt the pairing.

I don'tunderstand the dominant and co-dominate genes. So I wouldn't know what to choose. Also, i dont know where to start.

I would start three posts above this one, as recommended. There is a link that was given to you that will help you gain a better understanding of the genetics involved. After you've read the post provided, please feel free to ask specific questions.

This site is a great place to be - you just have to be willing to be proactive and learn a bit for yourself.
