    I definitely know what you mean. When I first came across them, I thought they were almost ugly. The more I looked at them, the more they grew on me. At this point they are one of my favorite species. Especially when they're in their light phase!

    Not sure who she was bred by. I picked her up through the Reptile Rapture shop. They had an early picture of her, and already she was showing tons of pink. I knew I had to have her.

    She is big! My 2013 hogg island female is much smaller than that, she's close to a year and half old too. Are you sure she is a 2013? I think she might be older--but that is just my guess.

    Here's how big mine is: (my phone camera doesn't do her colors justice!)
    1.0 Pied 0.1 Pied het Albino
    1.0 Albino het Pied 0.1 Hog Island Boa
    0.1 het Albino, 50% het Pied 0.1 Black lab

    She is big. I thought maybe she was an EARLY 2013 animal. She's really been hitting some growth spurts since the weather warmed up. I thought maybe I was overfeeding, but she just gets a small rat (appropriate size) once every week and a half to two weeks. I can't imagine that's too much?
