Shipping my collection of snakes across country... so many questions!

I guess my biggest question right now is how many snakes would be safe to ship in one box? I currently have the following that need to be shipped and obviously I don't want to ship each in their own box because that would be super expensive. I'm trying to save money and do what's safest for the snakes:

0.2 juvenile Brazilian rainbow Boas (approx 200 grams ea.)
1.1 juvenile Tangerine Milk snakes (approx 200 grams ea.)
1.1 Sub Adult Blood Pythons (approx 600 grams ea.)
3.3 baby ball pythons (ranging from 80-150 grams ea.)
1.3 juvenile ball pythons (ranging from 250-400 grams ea.)
2.4 sub adult ball pythons (ranging from 600-1000 grams ea.)
0.1 Adult ball python (approx 2500 grams)

That's what I have to ship thus far, luckily my four leos are easy to ship in deli cups and will have their own box. I'm wondering, for the snakes however, what size boxes to use and who to group together. How many can go in a box together, obviously with their own bags and such... I don't know what size box to use. I've seen various sizes on shipping reptile websites and I don't know which ones to get and how many can go in each.

Any advice? I am very new to this. I've had them shipped to me but never shipped them myself. I will be shipping them at the start of June.

Excellent prices and even better customer service. Tons of online instructions and information for shipping correctly, and live folks to call for more detailed help if you need it.

You should be ok with the largest box http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/shop...hipping_kit_5/, but you will need to make shure to compartiment it so the big snakes do not crush the small ones.

If I was shipping those I would ship the following in Deli cups 6.75 inches ones.

0.2 juvenile Brazilian rainbow Boas (approx 200 grams ea.)
1.1 juvenile Tangerine Milk snakes (approx 200 grams ea.)
3.3 baby ball pythons (ranging from 80-150 grams ea.)

And use bags for the rest.

To compartiment you can either build walls with carton boards in the box or place smaller boxes into the big one.

Deb pretty much nailed it. For the smaller stuff use delis, they give structural support and protection from the heavier snakes.

You don't want animals sloshing around. Our box #5 is 30x16x10 and is insulated, so you could do smaller boxes within there that don't have or need insulation, and that could provide structural support. Some folks just use pieces of cardboard and lots of crumpled paper/padding to keep things fairly separate.

There are no crazy big animals listed there, so it really isn't too tough a request. If you have questions, feel free to contact info@ShipYourReptiles.com.
