Security Guard in Bali Earns Darwin Award

My grandma (snake hater, mind you) mentioned this as the story was released. Didn't take me long to point out the person who died was an idiot.

Sheesh the NY Daily News shows a picture of a ball python while at least the Guardian showed a burm, which is native to Bali. The two are about as comparable as a Yorkie and a Great Dane, and the Yorkie is more dangerous than the ball python is.

Wait, so I shouldn't put a large wild constrictor around my neck to transport it?? I guess hopping on the back of a wild mustang and trotting it home is out of the question, too?

I like how they make it out like the snake attacked the man and was the snakes fault for defending itself.... Idiots..

I have to agree that trying to capture a 15 foot python (especially a wild one) by yourself isn't the smartest thing to do. I also love how they used a picture of a Ball in one of the articles, I'm still searching for that illusive 15 foot Ball Python, I'll let you guys know when I find it. But by far my favorite part was in one of the comments it read: Snake - 1 Ambar Arianto Mulyo - 0

If a strange man I didn't know threw me over his shoulders and tried to take me somewhere I didn't want to go I'd choke him out too.
