    Cool Carpet color progression

She's about a year old now. I know she's small but when I got her she was only eating live fuzzy mice which I had trouble getting a hold of and she's now eating live large rat fuzzies/small pups which I can get easily. Her color is coming in nicely, and yes I am a big chicken and wear gloves when working with her. She has tried to bite my face multiple times.

When I got her last year:

Looks like she took misting into her own hands. Good for her.

Is she still nippy? Is that why you are wearing gloves?

Lol, that's the closest thing I have to a snake hook right now so I decided to use it.

She can be nippy and since I was taking pictures with flash I really didn't feel like risking getting bit. She likes to try to bite my face when I have her out. Usually if I am just working with her for a short period of time I will use the gloves to take her out and then take them off once she settles down. She doesn't seem to like being held much and certainly doesn't seem to like me. My other female carpet is the complete opposite and I will actually put her around my neck and let her crawl on my face.

I just found this hilarious because I let my snakes do the same thing. I can't imagine how terrifying an idea that would be to anyone who doesn't keep snakes.

Oh wow she is gorgeous! I can't wait until I get my carpet!

So what age are they finished changing colors?
I was recently offered a 2 year old female for $200, but I turned her down because she was similarly colored to the first picture of your snake.
1 Husband, 1 Western Hognose Snake (male), 2 ferrets (2 females), 1 male jungle leopard gecko, 4 gerbils (2 females & 2 males), 1 male dwarf rabbit, 3 guinea pigs (1 male, 1 female and 1 female skinny pig), 2 American parakeets, 2 cats (male bobcat hybrid and a male Egyptian Mau mix), and 2 dogs (female Mini Dachshund and a female Alaskan Malamute).
