Try to call them, though it may be the safest bet to ship during winter here, so that way you can use heat packs for when they get to Alaska.

If you ship them when it's hot here and you put heat packs it could very well kill the snake and without a heat pack the cold may cause some damages to the snake.

Shipping to Alaska isn't cheap, and you have a small maybe 2 month window in order to ship there because it gets so cold there. Tim Bailey has 1 experience of shipping to Alaska, but I don't know of anyone else who has.

ShipYourReptiles does indeed ship to Alaska. Contact Andy@ShipYourReptiles.com for info and a quote. The auto-quote on the site doesn't always work for Alaska, because much of the state is not served by Overnight service. On the south end of the state, you should be fine, into Fairbanks you should be fine. But Andy can use the zip codes and get you the info, price and guaranteed times.

It is a bit more expensive because of the difference, but it isn't double the lower 48 rate or anything. The biggest concern is the guaranteed time. Even the larger cities like Anchorage are often a 4pm guaranteed time.

We just did a $35,000 shipment, fully insured through SYR, to Alaska a week ago, so it is definitely possible, and folks ship to Alaska regularly.

It was a couple of very high dollar animals. Had me quite nervous until we confirmed their safe healthy arrival!
