Help -weight - feeding - general rehab

3.5' - we think 6 yr old ball - taking over care - ate about 5 weeks ago - 2 med frozen mice according to previous owner. Clean, correct temp and humidity in husbandry. No idea on shed. Feels 'cool' and not particularly strong. Feeding has not been regular or often enough I don't think. Some urate in enclosure but no poop. Where do we start!?!?!

First thing is husbandry. Can you describe it for us? What is your set up like?

Then let him settle into his new environment for one week. Do not handle or touch him during this time.
Next is to feed him on a regular schedule on the proper prey size.
Don't expect poop since he probably already defecated the 2 mice long ago. And snakes don't poo often anyway. Mine poo every few weeks.

It's ok for your snake to feel cool (not cold). Humans are 96-97 degrees. Anything less than that probably feels cooler to the touch.

How much does he weigh? Length of the snake, doesn't tell us much. We go by weight in grams.
And I suggest trying live prey to jump start a feeding response if he's really picky about frozen. Adult males don't need anything larger than a small rat.
