Is he about to shed, or having eye issues?

I received my little male Bumblebee yesterday, and he came out of the box with milky eyes. This is my first ball, and I'm not too well-versed in snakes, but I know this is indicative of a shed to come. What I wasn't sure about, however, was the texture...his eyes almost look goopy, and have some wavy texture to them...they're not smooth. Is this something normal, or should I be concerned? Not the best pic...

    Thanks in advance!

Can you get some more/better pictures of the snake? A picture of the entire snake would be helpful as well.

It looks like pre-shed blue eye, but it might also be a retained eye cap.

He might be in shed and dehydrated, but it's really impossible to tell for sure without an in-focus picture.

Are both of his eyes the same? Here's a pic of an adult normal we got last January, he arrived with a retained eyecap after being kept in a dry environment. Fortunately after soaking and keeping his tank at 70% or higher humidity, the cap came off with his next shed and he's ok now.

Thanks for your replies Merchant, Annarose15, and bcr229! I busted out my big-boy camera and got some macro shots:

    Right side

Aaand left side...the flash penetrated his eye a lot, so it's a bit more opaque looking than this...but this captures the texture of it well. Here's a full body pic:

^ That's with no flash...you can see the milkiness of his eyes a bit better here. He has quite a bit of wrinkling a folding to his skin. I have the humidity above 70% and a nice big bowl of water for him, so I'm not sure what to do at this point.

he's definitely in blue. Bump his humidity up to 60%+ and wait to see a new skin!
