    New owner, needs help

I recently bought a bp, from the flea market 2 days ago
he was moving around quite a bit at first but now he's been motionless for a few hours and was like that the day before, is he just getting used to his me habitat or could there potentially be something wrong?

I keep the temp at a solid 80
the guy at my local pet shop told me to just most the tank once a day and to not worry about checking humidity levels if I spray, it's a 15gallon tank, he looks good no hard breathing or spots on hhim doesn't look very skinny

Do you have a heat gradient set up? IE one side of the tank needs to be about 90 degrees the other needs to be around 78-82ish....you also need a UTH or under tank heater with a thermostat control on it to keep it at 90 degrees....I would also suggest a thermometer for the cooler side and one for the hotter side (thermometers are about $11.00 at walmart) I dont have the exact link for the thermometers most ppl use around here.

Also you need a hide on the warm side and a hide on the cool side....I personally put a water bowl right in the middle of the tank.....If you have a hatchling or juvenile BP I would suggest putting some clutter in the tank as well....BPs like dark closer in spaces....I use a small reptile safe fake vine with some leaves on it for some clutter with the water bowl.

What do you have down on the bottom of the tank as substrate?

I have a heat lamp on half of the cage, I'd say the cold side is only a few degrees below my hot side, any particular companies that make good uth pads? And okay I'll grab some thermometers in the morning

Is there maybe a page with the perfect ideal setup for a bp? Or a picture with everything that should be in the cage?
