...which would mean space would not be a problem either because you could afford all the space you needed....

What kind of collection and/or breeding projects would you like to have? Would you want something private where you work alone? Or something on a relatively huge scale like NERD?

My own response to my question:
    (In a perfect world!)

I want to breed ball pythons...in particular, I would like to breed exceptional "normals," piebalds, clowns, mojaves, and caramel albinos.

Beyond that, I dream of a collection that has at least one of all the animals that fascinate me so much, including but most certainly not limited to, burms chondros, bullsnakes, pines, a mate for Caesar , BCI, BCC, BRB's and too many more to name.

I'd love to be partnered with my hubby in these endevors, but other than that keep it to a small scale. Besides the two of us, I would look for maybe one or two young people who are interested in apprenticing, to help out with all the cleaning, feeding, socializing and record keeping that would be involved in this mini-zoo!

    So what's your dream?

Neither. It's a PC game, but you play it at home by yourself. There's no online version that I know of. You can choose from a variety of pre-built scenarios where you go in and "fix" a zoo seriously in need of new management...or you can start with a blank slate and build your own zoo totally from scratch. You adopt animals as you go, and you have to keep them healthy and happy....as well as provide all the necessary fascilities to keep your customers happy, too. It's a lot of fun...very addicting!

I'd build an educational facility with large rooms simulating various ecosystems from around the world wih a glass wall down each one for viewing. The simulations would have to be incomplete with regard to large mammals, but I'd have a number of smaller mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, etc. appropriate to each habitat. The temperatures, humidity, photo cycles, and weather in each room would be carefully calculated to replicate what would be found in the animals' natural environments, as would standing or running water, plant life, soil type, rocks, etc. There would, of course, be veterinarians and zookeepers on staff, an apprenticeship program, a breeding program, quarantine, and on-site food production, as well as educational opportunities for schools, camps, and the general public.
