    Congrats! Male or female?

    I love the head color.

P.S. I also got my first blood from Blood Mafia at Tinley. Their little ones are super friendly.

I had heard that little bloods tend to be mean.....WRONG!!
She is such a sweetheart; she has never even acted like she was skittish or bitey, just very curious and "aware"....it seems like she watches everything you do lol.
Blood Mafia was great; they answered all of our newbie questions and assured us that we could call anytime with questions or concerns.

I've actually had some bad experiences with bloods in the past. There was one I met that was the most agressive little thing I had ever seen, and by little I'm guessing it was already over 1000g. It struck at everything.

Mine is a lot like yours in temperment, except she doesn't really seem to watch. She goes along her merry way and doesn't care what I do really. If my hand gets in the way she goes around.

I totally agree that Blood Mafia was great. I can't wait to see yours when it's a little bigger.

That's funny, I named my blood python "sweetheart" because of the "snake kiss" I got on our first day together

She lives up to her name now, for the most part plenty of grumpy snake stereotypes for certain species are overstated. We do have one snake that truly is one of those that will take a swing at you any moment you give her a chance, but she is a brazilian rainbow boa.
