help with RTB please

I have my first RTB (used to having BPs) and am just wondering how often they use the restroom. my BPs usually once a week-2 weeks after feeding. if they don't poop by then i soak them and try to let them work it out which usually works. if not i try to force it if it feels like it may be calcified. but anyway my RTB ate about 2 weeks ago and still nothing (even after 2 soaks and i feel a tiny bumb of poop that's it). is this normal for that species?

feeding it hoppers. and is only a baby RTB (BPs are 4 months and 2 years)

it's been my experience that they defecate about half as often as royals. they also don't always abide by the shed-then-void rule that most of my balls do. I wouldn't bother with unnecessary soaking and definitely stop trying to force anything out the vent unless a serious problem has arisen, in which case a vet trip should probably be your default reaction. true constipation is really not that common.

ok, and i have only had to "force" something once. rather large lump. (had been about a month of not eating and 2 of no bowel movements.)

thanks for the advice on soaking and such. guess i will just keep an eye on him.

My boa doesn't poo that often. He is young too. Seems to me, even young bps don't poo that much. They are using all of their meals, with little left over. So I wouldn't worry too much about the boa. And I would stop soaking your bps, and just let them do their thing on their own.

I have a 8 year old Corn Snake that is doing the same thing, will the same soaking thing work for him too?

I thinhk it it all depends on the snake, and how often they are eating. my RTB pooped every week and half. I had a ball that only pooped once but she didn't eat the whole time I had her. I don't think there is a set rule for this. also I don't think they need a to be soaked to poop. I normally soak after they poop to clean up but thats it.
