Good idea to switch, but that seems extremely large for such a small snake! That's actually a bit large for most adults.
As far as setup, the same rules apply. Hot side, cool side, 2 hides and a water dish. Substrate can be what you choose but I recommend to keep the entire setup as simple as possible!

And a regulated UTH or flexwatt...key word regulated so it doesn't melt any plastic on the tub (or burn the snake).

Drill/solder holes in the tub. It will depend on your location as to how many holes you will need.
Attach a UTH that is about 1/3rd of the tub. The UTH MUST be regulated by a thermostat.
Place a hide on each side, and a water dish.
If you're using an accurite, you can drill a hole near the unit and have the excess cord outside of the tub. Drill a hole on the hot side so you can push through the probe to place over your UTH.

Take a look at this Sticky Tutorial.
It has everything you need to know about setting up a stand alone tub.

How much does your snake weigh? Length means nothing to most of us. So it's more difficult to gauge what kind of tub you want.
Here is my list of tub sizes to BP weight ratio:
6 qt - for hatchlings
16 qt - 500 or less grams
28/32 qt - 2000 or less grams
41 qt - 2000 + gram adults

Re: switching from tank to tub!
idk how much she weighs... i dont have a scale. but right now she is temporarily in a 15qt. tub. she will probably be good in that for a while i just got a bigger one so that she could have a warm side and cold side hide and all... but idk...

Remember that your room ambient temp needs to be high enough to make the ambient temp in the tub high enough. This was my only problem with a tub setup.
But good luck!

2x on the room temp. If you have had any problems with heating the tank the tub is going to reduce the options for secondary heating. (uth and bulb to keep temps correct for example) As you can imagine tubs have next to no insulating value they simply do not hold heat well at all. Don't substitute one problem for a new one, (humidity for heating)

Re: switching from tank to tub!
i have her in a temporary 15 qt tub right now but i returned the 59 qt long tub and got a 28 qt tub cuz its hard to have a cold side and hot side in a 15 qt. so tomorrow i will have her all set up in her new tub for good.
