So I tried to search it but i'm not good at searching. Anyways, I'd like to know the basic wieghts of the different age groups of corns. Like, how much does a hatchling weigh, how much does a juvenile weigh, and how much does an adult weigh? Also, what size tubs correspond with those ages?
It is kind of hard to say as snakes grow at different rates. It all depends on their genetics, diet, and environment. From personal experience, a hatchling tends to be around 7g or so (sometimes more, sometimes less). Subadults, are usually around 100-200g and full grown adults can be 400g and up. My 6 year old female is around 550g and she's not a large corn by any means.
A pinky mouse. You'd be amazed at how big of a meal they can eat. But, if you really don't think she can handle it, you can cut the pinky in half.
Well, you're right, I was amazed watching this little tiny snake eat a day old pinkie. When I put the day old in the tank and the snake came over to take a look, I'm thinking "there's no freaking way" but darned if he didn't lol.
I had snakes as a kid and forgot just how far they can open their lower jaw. It's all coming back to me now
