    Need help identifying

    My boss found this while vacationing in Alabama. I haven't a clue lol.

    Appears to be some sort of glass lizard but that is a hard picture to make a definitive identification from.

    That's what I was thinking. Glass lizard. Body is seemingly short to be a snake. The tail is quick to a point as well. Might do a little googling. Thanks for the input.

    Ask your boss if it had eyelids or not. If it did....definitely some sort of Glass Lizard.

    The regrown tail is a definite giveaway.. Whatever type of glass lizards live in that area is what they've got there.

    Looks to be an Eastern Glass Lizard (Ophisaurus ventralis) or a Slender Glass Lizard (Ophisaurus attenuatus).
