CONTEST Reminder and NOTES -- PLEASE READ

Due to the difficult upgrade and server shift we've recently gone through, I will be keeping the contests open for a couple of extra days. I have not had a chance to validate the current group of images I have, but I can tell you that I have images that were submitted on or before June 27th. (Wendhend has the most recent entries waiting in the queue.) If you submitted any images (or tried to submit) after the 27th, please submit them again.

If you're not sure if your image is in the queue, feel free to resubmit. I can wade through any duplicates we get, it won't hurt anything.

I'm not going to have time to send out PMs to individuals if their image does not qualify for the contest, so PLEASE read the rules and make sure your image qualifies...especially with these most commonly broken rules:

1. You MUST have a minimum of 10 posts within the last thirty days for your image to be included...whether you're new to the site, or a long-time veteran, you need to be CURRENTLY participating in order to enter the contests.

2. You may enter each of the three contests, but only ONE picture PER CONTEST, please. Any additional pictures will be deleted and your actual submission may be chosen at random from multiple submissions...which may not be the one you would have wished. So just enter one.

3.Check the POTM THEME. This month's theme is ANIMAL CAPTIONS. If your picture does not fit this theme, it will be deleted.

Contest DEADLINE has been moved to 11:59pm Eastern time, July 2nd.

New contests will go up for vote on July 3rd.

Member participation on the 1st and 2nd of July will count toward the minimum post count requirement, so if you need a few more posts to qualify, you have time to get them in.

So where do I upload the picture at?

In the post above yours, there is a big link that says, "Contest Rules & Submission Links". Click on that...scroll down, and you'll find the links for each category. Also, on the home page, where the winning pictures are showcased, there is a link under each picture that takes you to the submission page for that category.
