    Translucent tubs?

Can you use translucent tubs as rat birthing tubs? Every pic I see people are using opaque. I just ordered 24 vp-35 which were the perfect size and looked opaque online but are actually somewhat translucent.

Yes you can, all my birthing tubs are translucent and I have no issue.

As long as they aren't thin enough for them to easily chew through they will be fine. A lot of translucent tubs are pretty thin or have ridges for the rats to chew through so people don't use them.
