    I'm sorry to hear about your friend, I know what it's like losing someone you're close to, I think everyone does. Congrats on the babies & wouldn't the normals actually be het for albino?

    Um, if both parents are het for albino, and there are normals, wouldn't that be at least 50% or 66% possibly 100%, not doubting you, just confused..

    Yes, het X het should be 66% possible het among the normal-looking animals.

    You don't get 100% unless one parent is a visual.

    You get 50% when one animal is 100% het, and the other doesn't carry the gene.

    There is actually only a 33% chance that any given normal-looking animal in the clutch will be normal, and not het.
