I went to petco today to get some crickets, and came home with a "rosehair".
Anyway, i noticed it has some pink spots on the abdomen (blue), and also has what appears to be a hole on top of its head (red). I couldnt get a pic that actually shows it, but its right in the middle of the red circle. I was wondering if anyone could maybe tell me what is going on?
I am on my phone but from what I can see everything looks quite normal. Just check the mouth area when you can and make sure the fangs and the area are clean.
the hole is something tarantulas have in general which is nothing to worry about. the "blue" spots are simply bald spots which means your rose hair has flicked its abdomen hairs as either defending itself, or lining them around its home.
