Adding another "yes" to the group, all hybrids are banned AND their eggs.
I haven't heard any news on a reversal. As far as I know it would take an actual lawsuit, and would cost a lot of $$, so it's unlikely to happen.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. ~ Herm Albright

USARK is continuing to explore its legal options and is strategizing with its BOD and legal advisors. When any developments are made, they will be announced.

Along with the last question, how many people do you think are ignoring the ban and just taking them along with a move? Do you think there is a black market developing with them? just curious...
I don't have room for a large snake yet, but I sure had hoped to in the 5-10 year future.

I'm sure that many, many people will ignore the law when it comes crossing the state lines with their snake. This is a difficult law to enforce. It's not like we have to go through customs to travel from state to state. The idea that it is a felony is enough to deter most scrupulous breeders. Lossing an entire stock of burms would be a bummer. However many will choose to simply ignore the ban, choose carefully who you do business with. I do not think that under CURRENT rules that a black market interstate burm ring needs to form. Each state has a population of burms already and some may even become saturated with them as the snakes cannot be moved. Who know what the herp laws will look like in 5-10 years though.... My thought is that if you want it and can house it, now is the time to get it.
