    F/T feeding issue

I understand that its that time of the year where bp's arent all gonna eat. I try to feed f/t to all of my animals but some of them just wont cooperate. so a few of them still get live meals. Here is my problem: most of my animals that have never had a live meal are still refusing to eat f/t again after a couple months of not eating and losing some wieght. I tried fresh pre killed and a couple took them but I have a Pinstripe male and a few others that has never had a live meal in their life still refusing p/k or f/t. wondering if i should try live just to get a meal in them? Thanks for any and all suggestions

Try a Live hopper mouse Lgray gave me that tip and it worked both times for my on strike balls. But now I have to get one to take F/T again

Have you tried leaving the f/t in there over night? That's the trick for a couple of mine. It actually just worked for one of mine that was fasting.

My male lesser has been on strike for 6 months now. I'm pretty sure it's because he was breeding but it still worries me a little. He's only lost about 150 grams but the next feeding day I'm going to try a live rat too just to get a meal in him.

Changing their feeding habits and then trying to change them back can prove difficult...Good luck!

    Re: F/T feeding issue

I always just try a smaller live meal than I normally would so I'm less worried about the snake getting hurt and its less likely to be intimidated. I use fresh killed to wean them onto/back onto F/T.
