    mice question

    so i have a prego mouse and another non pregnant mouse would it be ok to keep them together or will it be an issue when the babies are born?

    Mice do fine breeding in groups...just watch out for any aggression/baby eating.

    both females been together for a while with no issue i just tought maybe when the prego mouse gave birth the other female would eat the babies

    I know with rats, moms will help out other moms with nursing sometimes. Ive read that on here somewhere.

    It's really up to the individual personalities of the mice in question.
    Some are very helpful wit others, while others will tear the litter to shreds. There seems to be no direct link to breeding or lines with this, but definitely a link to how they were raised. Meaning, mice raised in a colony setting, do well in a colony setting as adults.

    well i would say they came from a colony since i bought them from a feeder store but i decided to breed them myself since then ive had 1 boy 2 girl living in the same tub
