    Feeder size

    Hi guys , I have a question about feeder sizes , I have a apx 9 month old female bp , I've only had her about 3 weeks , she's weighing in at 730 ish grams , she ate a single large mouse on Sunday and two more last night , they were f/t , I want to switch her to rats and need to ask what size to get , I will be pick

    Just to mention , she hasn't popped since Saturday so her weight includes the 3 large mice currently being digested .

    700g she should take weaned-small rats. Go by 15% of her weight...

    You should be 10-15% of her body weight every 5-7 days. This would roughly translate to 73-109g if she were 730g empty.

    Also would say small rats. My juvenile BP currently takes 1 small rat per week.

    Good luck! Let us know if you have any issues with the transition. There are lots of techniques, like scenting that usually do the trick.
