Best place to buy acryilic displays?

Just wondering where you guys have bought your displays at, I'm planning on buying my own here soon and would like some suggestions. I've looked at reptile emporiums and they look really cool but fairly pricey.

Any other brands you like or don't like?

Look on fauna classifieds under caging. There is someone that builds them on there and you can even get them LED lighted. Seems to be excellent pricing as well. I will be buying a few from him...

Since they are fairly basic contraptions, im saying compared to a full blown pvc enclosure, i would see if anyone in your area does plastics molding. They may be able to build you one fairly cheap if you go in and show them pics of what you need. Plus its always good to support the local community!

The acrylics break pretty easy, don't they? My husband asked why we didn't just use lexan. My answer was: "Uhhhh..."

(This is the same husband who asked if heat tape was DC or AC.) (The answer turns out to be DC, btw.)

Heat tape plugs into the wall without a transformer. That means it is AC not DC

Mine goes through the rheostat, pretty sure that's DC coming out there.

Oh, this is so off-topic. Please don't destroy us, moderators!

But is does not HAVE to go through a rheostat, you can technically plug it straight in, so I would think AC as well.

BUT ANYWAY.... Boaphile makes a very nice set up for displays as well. They are not on the site so you would have to call him. He does have a video about them on YouTube and they look good.

Boaphiles displays are insane, I wanted to get one but never saw them on the site. Sounds like maybe a special order thing?
