possible RI/swollen neck and head. help SVP

alright so my big normal is going in to her pre-lay shed so she's been soaking. i noticed she had dunked her head under water a couple of times. she's rather swollen in the neck, i felt it just feels like water anmd it didnt even seem to bother her with me touching it. the top of her head is swelled up to her teeth are kind of overlapping the bottom jaw. i have 2 pics that show this rly well. amny thoughts on what i can do for now, ill bring her to a vet if need be and either way will. just some thoughts on what i can do for now. thanks a bunch

Never seen anything like that before, and offhand have no idea what it could be. But if it were me, I'd be doing everything in my power to get her in to a vet TODAY.

Ive seen this few times in other peoples snakes, and the swelling usually went down on its own.

Looks like a swollen gland of some sort filling with fluid.

it does feel like a bunch of retained water its rather squishy.
so far the vets I called are closed bleh. i took her water out she'll be quite warm so ill keep an eye on it till i can get her to a vet. I'll keep everyone posted, she's the toughest gal i have she'll pull through im sure.

I have a Burmese python that ended up like this after his shed. His face and throat was swollen. I put him in the tub of warm water and let him exercise and it went right down. I posted it online like you and a well known breeder said its a gland that swells up sometimes. Hopes it goes down. Keep us posted.
