    female leopard gecko not leaving her egg box

    Does this mean she is gravid? Is it safe she is not leaving it? Shes not eating is this normal? Please help me. She was with a male and is over 50 grams. Is my leopard gecko normal.

    Very possible sees gravid. If you look at her belly you should be able to see the eggs through her scales.

    When they are close to laying, the stop eating and stay in their lay box. You will definitely be able to see the eggs in her belly as well.

    It is possible she is gravid and waiting to lay, but it's also possible that she has just decided she likes it in there. Some of mine including both males and females spend most of their time in their humid hide. They all have their favorite spots. As for her eating, it is normal for females to stop eating while they're gravid. Just be sure she doesnt lose too much weight.
