Eh, I dont smoke around non smokers and if I really have to I'll walk away from everyone to smoke. It's my bad habit but others shouldn't have to be exposed to the negative effects of it. I wish bars had a smokers area still though :/ it sucks because we generate so much money with the taxes, but are forced to go outside when it's freezing or pouring rain just to get a few drags haha. Restaurants should be no smoking for sure but I HIGHLY feel like there should be smoking bars and non smoking bars. lol

The government feeds us a lot of things that aren't true just like any government does sadly. :/

Yeah she's a mainland normal. And I'd say she's about 4.5 ft. She's been thickening a lot lately and not growing length wise. She was super skiny when I got her. I think she weighs 3lbs according to what the vet told me if I remember correctly. I'll weigh her tomorrow or something.

think she'll be at 5 by the time shes a year? thats not a bad growth rate, i thought maybe they would be like burms and possibly reach 8+ ft (from what ive heard) in the first year, but 4.5 feet at 9months sounds alot more reasonable

Re: Update on tiger retic growth (9 months old!) (56k no way!)

Actually I think she's growing abnormally slow and I'm definitely not under feeding.. I'm borderline power feeding. I give her atleast 2 rats a week. There's a guy on youtube who made some videos of his male tiger retic and at 1 year he was huge.. a couple other videos also gave me this idea. Wonder if the breeder mixed up and gave me a dwarf tiger somehow? Now that I think about it lmao.

Two rats a week is nowhere near "power feeding".

Young animals (of every species) eat a ton of food in their first two years of life. It helps get them from the "prey" stage to the "predator" stage.

8 - 10 feet in one year is a totally acceptable growth rate for a female retic.

    Chris

and by the way, she is a gorgeous tiger!!
