Update about the pastel "craigslist" BP
Apparently my post was against the rules for some reason, but I wanted to update everyone. I finally got an email back from her, today.
"No problem. I'm an animal lover and understand - even though I'm not what you'd call a snake lover, I still find them beautiful and fascinating. I should have waited for her to finish shedding before I took pics. She shed all her skin within a day or so - Is sleek and shiny now, but still needs a home.
We've had quite a year (medical/health issues) and cannot take care of Leah. She needs a better home. She has a sweet disposition and a healthy appetite. I try to give her new warm water in her pond every other day or so and feed her a mouse at least once a week, but she needs someone who can give her more care and love. I wish my grandson would have "thought before he bought". He paid (on my credit card without my knowledge) about $90 for her. I'd like to be able to recoup some of that money (wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have so many medical bills) - but I really want her to go to a good home so... let me know what you think. Hopefully we can work something out.
Thank you,
Elaine"
I offered her $50. Waiting on reply.

I can't find the original post anymore, but it was a lady whose grandson brought home a 5 month old, female pastel without permission & they want it gone. They wanted $250 for the snake & a 55 gal tank & supplies. The pic showed a pastel with TONS of stuck shed. She looked really bad. I offered to take her off her hands as a rescue & that was the reply that I got. Waiting to hear back now.

Re: Update about the pastel "craigslist" BP
Your original post didn't break the rules (as far as I know), it was just posted in the wrong spot so it was moved to QT. It's still over there and the link to the original CL post works but the posting has been deleted by the author. So it seems that Elaine has either decided to take your offer, or a better one came along in the meantime.
Update?

My post here said that it broke the rule about posting ads? The craigslist post has been deleted & I haven't heard back from her after offering the $50. I'm hoping she just deleted it to take better pics, since I told her how awful she looked. The snake. Not her. Lol

If i remember correctly there was barely anything in the tank for her to rub any of that shed off. Hopefully it was a complete shed.

You are correct. Also, I really don't think that she shed it all within a day or two. It looked like it had been there for a long time.
