    Amelia the Southern Flying Squirrel.

Wow this website is a big pain in *** tonight. Seem like one error after another. But I found her outside in the spring of '10. The cat was playing around with her but luckly no injuries. So I decided to keep her as a pet because the fact she was still young(weanling) I figured she wouldn't be right after human contact.

Just figured I post some pictures.

    Raiding the curtains.

    Her play wall.

Running around on Jakes cage. I had to add those bricks bc I got tired of him popping the top in search of rats.

    Chillin with her daddy

Man I took like 13 effin pictures and everytime I clicked the process button some error page popped up and half my pictures re copied thierselves... WTF

Anyway hope ya enjoy the pictures of Amelia.

Brian, she looks awsome. Really love her lighter color. She looks like a handful. Have you had any problems with her being aggro at all?

    Thanks

Yours will eventually molt a couple times so as they get older they become slightly lighter. Some of that is from the flash also.

You just dont have no idea. They can be a handful at times mainly because of how fast they can run. Its easy to lose track of her at times. But other than that no big problems really. As I am typing this she is jumping from the curtains and gliding.

Im assuming you're talking about aggression? Her temperament is very good really. Depending on the mood she is in weather or not she wants to be handled she can get a lil nippy. She seem to be more nippy when she was younger and I first got her, as time goes by it has become less of an issue.

I cant say about sugar gliders.

But SFS are pretty easy to take care as long as you do the research and thier requirements are met. Mine can be a handful at times but just something you get used to after awhile.

I think it comes down to the personality of the animal. Mine has a good temperament takes alot to pee her off. Yes SFS are clingy too. If she is not on her wall or the curtains then usually she stays on me or underneath my shirt.
